2 Types of Water Everyone Needs

Clean drinking water: It’s a need all humans share.

The living water of Jesus: An even deeper need we all have.

Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” John 4:13–14 (ESV)

2waters, a project of Psalm 128 Missions, brings both types of water to many people in different parts of the world including Liberia, Nicaragua and soon Haiti. Your donation today goes 100% to provide clean water.

Dirty Water

According to World Vision, over 840 million people worldwide lack access to clean drinking water. This means that they are forced to drink water infested with horrible parasites such as Guinea-worm, not to mention deadly diseases including cholera and typhoid. Alternatively, they can spend much of their time and energy walking miles each day in search of clean water. If you are reading this page, most likely you have the luxury of walking a few feet to your kitchen or bathroom, turning on a faucet, and getting water that won’t hurt you when you drink it. And most of us think nothing of it. But imagine if you had to spend hours to get that drink, or if you had to literally risk your life to drink it. That is the reality lived daily by 1 in every 9 people around the world. Those are people made in God’s image just like you. They should not have to live like that. You can make a difference today.

About 2waters

Psalm 128 Missions had the vision to help worthy Christian organizations in different parts of the world which are engaged in helping to provide clean drinking water for people who need it desperately. But we know that this present life is not all there is. These same people need to receive the water of life from Jesus so that they will live forever with him. For that reason, we are careful to ensure that every organization we fund not only provides clean water but also living water. We are currently helping to fund clean water projects in Nicaragua run by SuNica. Soon we hope to be able to expand to other areas. Would you consider making a donation today?
